DIY OAT BANANA MASK

Hey, Beauties.

It's been a long time I have not posted any beauty recipe. But now I am all set to share with you all some of my favourite skin/hair care recipes I have been trying and have seen amazing results.

This Oat Banana mask is perfect for dry, irritated and sensitive skin.

Oats are known for its anti-inflammatory properties. They soothe and calm down the redness and irritation. Vit E oil is rich in antioxidants that protect  and repair the skin. Bananas soften dry dull skin and Almonds act as an exfoliator and slough away the dead skin cells.

Recipe for the mask.

You will need:

  • 1tablespoon finely ground oats
  • 1 tablespoon finely ground almonds
  • approx 2 tablespoons mashed bananas
  • 1 Vit E capsule or 1/4 teaspoon glycerine.
Combine all the ingredients in a small glass bowl. Adjust the consistency of the mask by adding water so that it can be easily applied to the face.

How to use it:

Apply the mask all over the face avoiding the eye area and around the mouth. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Then wet the face with lukewarm water and exfoliate using gentle circular motions for a minute. Remove the mask completely with lukewarm water. At the end splash the face with cool water to close down the pores. Follow with your favourite toner and moisturiser.

Use this mask once a week. You will start seeing the difference in your skin texture and complexion.

Always make a fresh batch as banana oxidize quickly.

Do add this mask in your beauty regimen as a quick fix to rejuvenate your skin.

Stay healthy..Stay Beautiful!!!!
