EARTHING




Have you ever heard about Earthing/Grounding??? Certainly Yes, but, unfortunately, must have underrated its  profound health benefits.


Do you miss the sound sleep we experience when we sleep on the ground under the stars, long chats with friends and cousins and as we hit midnight we end up sleeping on the terrace?

Why do you think your body is  filled with a sudden spark of energy when you walk on the sand by the beach?

Do you know why Ayurvedic gurus and Yoga practitioners always mention taking a walk bare feet every day on the grass at least for 1/2 an hour?

When I  first came across the concept of earthing I was skeptical. I mean I know it feels good and relaxing, but I was not sure if it really helps with ailments and diseases. And also if it is validated by science or not?The more I dwelled into the concept of earthing the more I learnt. And the more I learnt the more I got convinced about the health miracles of earthing. As of now I make sure that I connect with earth/ground bare feet every day for an hour. I also bought the grounding device so it is convenient for me to get the benefits of grounding even when I am indoors.

SO WHAT IS EARTHING?

The concept of earthing is pretty simple. It is about connecting with the mother earth. Earth beneath our feet provides marvelous healing power. A simple contact with earth transfers a natural electrical signal to the body which helps in creating a balance within our body and assist it in staying healthy.Earth has an abundant supply of free electrons, which act as an Antioxidant by neutralizing and stabilizing the harmful free radicals. Mother Earth natural vibes discharge and prevents chronic inflammation in the body which is the root cause to almost all chronic diseases from cancer to aging.

HOW TO DO IT?

We rarely go barefoot outside, hardly feel and touch the ground beneath.Today, we mostly live and work insulated. We isolate ourselves from the earth by non-conductive materials such as rubber and plastic(our shoes), wood, plastic, laminate, asphalt (flooring surfaces).

We are constantly suffering from illness ans diseases, weak body and also emotionally weak mind. One of the contributing factors is our disconnection with Earth. 

If possible, take a break, disconnect from any electronic device (mobile, laptops) and sit/walk bare feet touching the ground and experience the healing power of earth. Also, if possible do it NOW!

To tap the healing benefits of earthing you can walk/sit barefoot in your backyards, garden, in the parks, on the grass, on the beach, and yes also by wading or swimming in the ocean water.


Ocean water is rich in minerals and it is highly conductive.Wading/Swimming in ocean water is a great form of grounding!

Nowadays there is a variety of indoor grounding devices available including grounding sheets, grounded mattress, grounded mats, grounded patches and body bands and grounded shoes. So if you can't go out and do not have access to barefooting opportunities due to weather or lack of time or for any other reason. You still have options available.

I have a grounding mat which I use religiously every day while I am on my desktop and while I am sleeping. I suffered from insomnia in the past but since I started using the earthing mat I never had faced a problem with sleeping.
