Hey Good Morning all beautiful people out there .....smile emoticon CHAITIME(TEATIME)....the best time of the day for me. The whole process of boiling water, grating zinger, putting some Tulsi( Basil) leaves, milk and sugar, makes me feel Alive and Energetic. The best is if I have some homemade Poha, Upma or Dosa/Uttapam, my all time favorites for busy mornings. Share your favorite breakfast ideas....easy, quick and yummly delicious recipe in the comment box.

For now lets get started with Instant Breakfast:


  • 1 Cup Semolina
  • 1 Cup Yogurt
  • Salt To taste
  • Water 
  • Chili powder (optional)
  • Clarified butter(Ghee) or Coconut oiL


Mix Semolina(Suji), salt and yogurt. Set aside for 15 minutes.

Add water and make a batter ( it should resemble an uttapam batter) neither too runny nor too thick.

Heat a nonstick and brush some oil and wipe it with clean cloth. I know we all are calorie conscious.I am not a big fan of Vegetable oil so most of my cooking I do either with Ghee( clarified butter) or Coconut oil. Recently I have fallen in love with this one. 

Drop a laddleful of batter and spread the it. Drizzle some desi Ghee( clarified butter) on sides. Sprinkle chili powder on top. Let it cook from one side. Once cooked add some more Ghee and flip it on the other side. Once cooked serve hot.
