DIY APPLE CIDER VINEGAR RINSE

My hair is excessively dry and frizzy. Specifically on days when I wash my hair they become unmanageable. So I am always on a look out for products to deal with frizzy and dry hair. With so many hair care commercial products in market which are expensive as well as full of chemicals its hard to decide whether its worth spending money on them or not. So I make sure that if  I can make it,I don't buy it. For me DIYs work best, not only they are dirt cheap but also very easy and effective.

This amazing Hair Rinse which I discovered recently do wonders for my hair. I have been using it since 8 months now and witnessed a significant difference. With just 3 ingredients, yes you heard it right just 3, a wonderful hair care product is made. Bonus is its ALL NATURAL.

The 3 Ingredients you need are Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), Tea Tree Oil and distilled water for dilution.

The natural acids and enzymes in ACV acts as a magical remedy for treating many scalp conditions like itchy scalp, dandruff, hair loss. Also ACV restores pH of hair. Just like our skin, the pH of hair should also be balanced.

Tea Tree oil is popularly known as "Medicine in a bottle". It cause a tingling and refreshing effect and unclog the hair follicles. It also act as a anti dandruff treatment.

RECIPE FOR APPLE CIDER VINEGAR HAIR RINSE:

# 1/2 CUP ACV
# 1/2 cup water
# 2 drops tea tree oil

HOW TO USE :

  • Whenever I wash my hair I use it as a final rinse after shampooing and conditioning the hair. I don't wash it away and use this hair rinse at least 2 times a week. The smell of vinegar goes away in some time so don't worry :-)
  • Sometimes I use this before shampooing. Massage the solution ( specially focusing on roots) for 5 minutes. Leave it on for an hour and then shampoo and condition the hair.
Do let me know how do you find the hair rinse in the comments section :-)
